NEWTOWN, CT Knettie Archard, Managing Director of Golden Opportunities, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy E. Taylor as Program Administrator for the organization. Ms. Taylor, a resident of Sandy Hook, will oversee project management, visitation schedules, volunteer training and assignments, and wish fulfillment. “Nancy brings a great deal of spirit, enthusiasm, and energy to our operation. Her ‘roll up the sleeves and tackle the task’ attitude and her commitment to excellence will ensure that the services we provide are always of the highest quality. We are very fortunate to have her on our team,” says Archard.
Golden Opportunities, located in Sandy Hook, is a nonprofit organization that was recently established to provide outreach services of comfort, compassion, and support to those who are experiencing isolation and loneliness. Services, geared primarily for the elderly, include visitation and interaction, wish granting, and participation in purposeful projects. Respite programs for caregivers are also offered.
